This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using SongPrompterAI ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to comply with this policy.
Purpose
SongPrompterAI is a creative tool for generating song lyrics. This policy exists to ensure the Service is used responsibly and that all users can benefit from a safe and respectful environment.
Prohibited Uses
You must not use the Service to generate content that:
Hateful or Discriminatory Content
- Promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination against any person or group based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age.
- Contains slurs, dehumanising language, or calls for harm against protected groups.
Harassment and Threats
- Targets, harasses, bullies, intimidates, or threatens a specific individual or group.
- Contains personal information about another person without their consent (doxxing).
- Encourages others to harass or harm a named individual.
Impersonation
- Falsely represents the content as being written by a specific real person (artist, songwriter, public figure).
- Deliberately mimics another artist's distinctive style with the intent to deceive consumers into believing the content is by that artist.
Illegal Content
- Promotes, facilitates, or glorifies illegal activity.
- Constitutes or assists in fraud, scams, or deception.
- Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others (while noting that coincidental similarity to existing works may occur in creative output).
Harmful Content
- Promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
- Provides instructions for creating weapons, drugs, or other dangerous materials.
- Contains or promotes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind.
Spam and Abuse
- Uses the Service for automated bulk content generation unrelated to songwriting.
- Attempts to bypass rate limits, quota restrictions, or security measures.
- Resells or redistributes access to the Service without authorisation.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for all content generated using your account. While the Service generates lyrics based on your input, you should review all output before use and ensure it complies with this policy and applicable laws.
If you intend to use generated lyrics commercially (recording, performance, distribution), you are responsible for verifying that the content does not infringe on existing copyrights or other rights.
Enforcement
We reserve the right to take action if we determine that your use of the Service violates this policy. Actions may include:
- Issuing a warning.
- Temporarily suspending your account.
- Permanently terminating your account.
- Reporting illegal activity to the appropriate authorities.
We will make reasonable efforts to contact you before taking action, except where immediate action is necessary to prevent harm or comply with legal requirements.
